Maths Tutoring Services
KS2 Tutoring
I would recommend starting with 30 minute lessons for pupils in KS2. We will cover the work that they are studying at school as well as tracking back through any building blocks of which they are uncertain.
I am unlikely to suggest doing more than very limited practice in-between lessons, unless more is requested.

KS3 Tutoring

I recommend starting with 45 minute lessons for pupils in KS3. We will make sure that they are happy with their current topics and look through any past assessments to identify areas of difficulty.
I would provide some limited additional questions for pupils to do in-between lessons if requested. However, I am aware that many people do not want the additional workload for their children.
Price £20 per 45 minutes
GCSE and A-level
I recommend starting with 1 hour lessons for GCSE and A-level pupils. Because these school years are so often focused towards exams, we will usually start by looking at past exam papers to help identify areas in need of study.
As well as improving topic areas, we will also study exam technique (if necessary) to help with timing exams and anxiety.
I can provide additional questions for areas covered while being sensitive to overall workload.

Expert Maths Guidance
I like to build pupils’ maths skills in blocks from a firm foundation. This approach reduces the ‘plate spinning effect’ that can often occur when pupils are moved on from one topic to the next. This means that, although we might start with a particular minimum grade we want to reach, we could easily end building past that to higher levels if time allows.
Confidence in Maths
My tutoring sessions focus on building confidence in maths, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts and excel in their exams with effective study techniques tailored to their needs.
Exam Success Strategies
I try to not only teach pupils the necessary maths skills, but also equip them with the techniques needed to succeed in any assessments that they undertake. This should help them approach their maths assessments with confidence and overcome other difficulties that they might experience.
